Maggi Spring Rolls Recipe

Who doesn’t love Maggi? And that too filled inside spring rolls- “Divine”. Many people don’t like to eat veggies inside spring rolls but nothing better than maggi with those veggies.These spring rolls are spicy, flavorsome and extraordinary.

If you don’t have spring roll sheets or are unable to find them at any store, i have made these spring rolls from scratch. Yes, you can make spring roll sheets at home. 

Maggi Spring rolls are great for tea-time snacks or party snacks. Even kids can take them to school occasionally or for picnic. Its a hit among all age group. Do try this recipe and you will surely return back for more.

For Spring roll sheets
  1. In a bowl, take maida, sooji, vinegar and salt. Mix well and knead a soft dough. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Pinch small balls from the dough.
  3. Roll each ball into a 3-4 inch circle like for poori.
  4. Take one poori , apply some oil and sprinkle flour on it.
  5. Place another poori on top of the 1st poori.
  6. Roll it into a 6-7 inches round like a roti.
  7. Heat a tawa and place the roti on the tawa and cook it for 10 seconds on each side on high heat. Do not overcook them.
  8. Remove the roti from tawa and separate them into two. Cover them with wet cloth and keep aside.
For the filling
  1. Boil the maggi and strain the water. Keep aside.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan and add slice onions. Saute them until they turn light pink in color.
  3. Now add carrots and capsicum. Saute them for few minutes.
  4. Add all the sauce and spices except maggi noodles. Mix well and cook it for another 30 seconds.
  5. Add Maggi noodles. Mix well and let it cool down.
  6. Take a sheet and place noodles in the center as shown in the picture.
  7. Make a thick slurry with maida and water. Fold the sheet into shape of spring roll and stick it with the help of slurry.
  8. Heat some oil in a wok for deep frying. On medium to high heat deep fry spring rolls until a little brown and crispy.
  9. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or chilli sauce.
