Chilli Mushrooms

Chilli Mushrooms are among one of my favorite Chinese starter/side dish other than chilli chicken. I love mushrooms in any form. These Chilli Mushrooms are so spicy and bursting with flavors, you will love them. Since they are dry, can be enjoyed as a side dish or starter. Works great for a party or get together.

While making slurry for deep frying mushrooms i have used whole wheat flour instead of all purpose flour(maida) and it came out really well. Also if you like your Chinese a little on a sweeter side you can add tomato ketchup or a pinch of sugar with other sauces.
